v4.6 Released and v4.7 in Development

Version v4.6

v4.6 was released in April. Key new features include:

Payroll

• Enhancements to the holiday accrual system (especially in relation to zero hours employees). Changes include the addition of accrual carry-forward and a new accrual enquiry.
• The introduction of a Sliding Scale Pension scheme which is compatible with the new Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
• For multi-week payroll users, a Tax Week Calendar has been introduced so that companies can govern their own tax weeks for each year.
• New Minimum Wage Exception report to list those employees being paid under the minimum wage.

T&A

• Supervisor Enquiry can now be printed.

Version 4.7

Development is currently underway on v4.7. New features include:

• Bradford Score available on the employee's absence details page
• Event Diary can now check for dates that have not been set, indicating an action hasn't been taken
• Open ended absences can now be entered
• Add/Remove Global Absence has been made available to Uniwage payroll and Unistaff HR, no longer just available in Unitend T&A.
• Improved validation before submitting online P45/P46 forms.
• Improved data connectivity to increase speed and reduce load on database servers

Version v4.7 is slated for September/October release.
