Current development
The next version to be released, version 4.8, is now in testing. This contains some enhancements to the package but is not a major release. These enhancements include:
- "localisation" - the ability to change words and phrases in the software to better suit your organisation
- Improved user diary
- Skill searching
- Shift swapping and global shift changes
- Improved licence counting
- Enhanced auditing of changes to payroll figures
Version 4.8 is scheduled for release at the end of November.
User Group Meeting
As mentioned last month, Dartington Hall recently hosted a user group meeting for South West users of the HR Unity product range. The feedback we received from this day was very positive and we hope that we can build on its success. Our thanks go to Claire and the team at Dartington for putting it together.
Many questions came out of the day and to those that attended, we will be discussing these at the development meeting later this week.
