November '10 Update 1 - v4.16.0 Released

Earlier this week, v4.16 was officially released. This offers many exciting new enhancements, including:

General

• New Post Wizard that makes setting up new Posts easier and faster.

Uniwage Payroll

• New Expenses & Mileages can now be entered and authorised in HR Unty Online directly into the payroll.
• Deduction Codes can now be identified as to whether they are being used for "payroll giving".
• New "Leave at period end" option when making an employee aleaver, designed to help when paying off an employee and no longer processing them.
• Expenses can now (optionally) automatically calculate VAT on entry.
• End of Year and Expenses & Benefits internet filing now show a summary of the values contained within the submission before it is sent, to give the user a chance to verify the contents of the submission.

Unistaff HR

• New Custom Questionnaires facility, allowing companies to create questionnaires to send to specified employees, who can then fill them in via HR Unity Online. These can then be monitored for responses.
• New Health Checks and Risk Assessments screens. Health Checks and Risk Assessments can be assigned to Posts, which are then automatically passed on to the employees on that Post. Reports show which Health Checks & Risk Assessments the employees have, don't have or fall short on.

Unitend T&A

• New Annualised Hours Year End facility.
• Removal of the Archive & Restore Clockings facility.

HR Unity Online ("Self Service")

• New single sign-on link to Working Wealth Flexible Benefits system.
• Training Requests now allow for user comments.
• Training Requests now only list those courses marked as "available for requests".
• Custom Screens can now be marked as read-only.
