Welcome 2007

Happy 2007 to everyone.

As stated in the last posting at the end of last November, v4.1 is still under testing, being that it is the first major payroll release since the introduction of several new features such as the Data Provisioning Service (for downloading HMRC forms) and multi-posts (and the aggregation of National Insurance that goes with it). And we have the HMRC visit next week to reaccredit the software for another year.

Whilst v4.1 has been undergoing testing, v4.2 has been under development. Oh yes, we don't just sit and wait for the testing to be finished! So what can you expect to see in v4.2?

  • Enhancements to career history (HR)
  • New Absence Control screen
  • Long-term sickness checking
  • Part-time workers holiday allowances
  • Ability to mark old departments, cost centres, locations, posts and lookup codes as "obsolete"
  • New Flexible Working Request history screen (HR)
  • Additions to existing Medical History screen and a new medical conditions section (HR)
  • Criminal Records Bureau history (HR)
  • Disciplinary Appeals (HR)
  • Several enhancements and additions to the Recruitment module (HR)

And more...!
