In the last posting, it was pointed out that emailed payslips (in PDF format) can, from v4.11, go to a different specified address other than the employee's work address.
In addition to this, we have added an optional security feature. The PDF file can now be password protected. This is a payroll group-wide setting, and if activated then the password can either be set to the employee's National Insurance number or their Self Service password (if Self Service is installed).
We are trying very hard to make email payslips a useable and useful feature, in an effort to save you money and, in general terms, save paper. These additions in v4.11 should go a long way to encouraging your organisation to take up this feature.
